Critics Choice Awards: Ganadores y lo mejor de la premiación
- Te dejamos un resumen de la ceremonia número 28 de los Critics Choice Awards 2023, premiación concedida por la Broadcast Film Critics Association, en reconocimiento de la excelencia en logros cinematográficos y de televisión.
Celebrada en el Fairmont Century Plaza Hotel de Los Ángeles, California, la ceremonia de los Critics Choice Awards estuvo llena de celebridades que llegaron por la alfombra roja con looks más divertidos y experimentales que en la pasada gala de los Golden Globes.
Entre los más destacados se encontraron Anya Taylor Joy quien deslumbró con un vestido en tendencia naked de la firma Christian Dior. Otros que llegaron bajo el nombre de esta reconocida casa de moda fueron el actor Diego Luna con un clásico traje negro, Amanda Seyfried con un hermoso vestido en dorado que acompañó con joyas Cartier.
Uno de los looks más llamativos fue el de Elle Fanning quien llego con un increíble vestido de Alexander McQueen de su colección primavera-verano 2023. También pasaron por esta alfombra muchas otras personalidades como Alejandro González Iñárritu, Andrew Garfield, Kate Hudson, Michelle Yeoh, Miles Teller, Janelle Monáe, Guillermo del Toro, Cate Blanchett, Julia Roberts, Brendan Fraser, entre otros.
Mejores discursos
Uno de los momentos más esperados de la noche es cuando los ganadores dan sus discursos que muchas veces pasan a la historia por lo que piensan de sus papeles, cintas, de la industria, etc., y en esta ceremonia no fue la excepción.
Hubo varias menciones hacia el machismo que aún perdura en la industria y que es importante seguir mencionando y visibilizando hasta que deje de existir. Cate Blanchett, ganadora a mejor actriz, fue una de las principales en mencionar el tema en su discurso cuando dijo: “Gracias a todas mis compañeras nominadas, me encantaría que subieran… ¿qué es esta pirámide patriarcal?… por qué no decimos que hay muy buenas actuaciones femeninas, y dejamos de hacer esta carrera televisada porque cada mujer, en cine, publicidad, comerciales, todas hacemos un trabajo maravilloso que me inspira”.
Brendan Fraser fue otro de los que causó un momento conmovedor en la gala, pues estuvo desaparecido por muchos años, y al borde del llanto, el actor de 54 años destacó el mensaje de la película por la que ganó un premio a mejor acto. “Esta película es sobre el amor, la redención, es sobre encontrar la luz en un lugar oscuro, yo tengo mucha suerte de haber trabajado con un gran elenco… si están luchando con la obesidad… si tienen la energía para ponerse de pie e ir hacia la luz, buenas cosas sucederán”, expresó ante el aplauso de sus compañeros de gremio.
Diego Luna presentó el premio a Mejor Director en los Critics Choice Awards, y no obstante a ser una premiación de la industria estadounidense, el mexicano saludó al público en español, lo cual, incluye a los hispanoamericanos en esta industria, y pasó a ser un momento gracioso de la velada: “Buenas noches. Es un placer estar con ustedes, con todos sus gérmenes, se agradece”.
Mexicanos en los Critics Choice Awards
Para la 28ª celebración de estos premios, México estuvo presente con tres mexicanos entre la gran lista de nominados.
Diego Luna, estuvo nominado en la categoría de mejor actor de una serie dramática por su interpretación del Capitán Cassian Andor en Andor, la serie más reciente del universo de Star Wars.
Por otro lado, Alejandro González Iñárritu, uno de los directores más aclamados de México y el mundo, también figuró en la lista de posibles ganadores por Bardo, falsa crónica de unas cuantas verdades, en la categoría de mejor película extranjera, que en esta ocasión no pudo obtener.
De los tres representantes que tuvo México en la ceremonia de anoche, el único que se llevó la máxima victoria en su categoría fue Guillermo del Toro, por su más reciente trabajo, Pinocchio, elegida como mejor película animada, la cual desarrolló en catorce años, pues comenzó a realizarse desde 2004.
